The thing I like the most about tech at citi is it's diversity. There is a lot of opportunities around the bank to solve different problems using different technologies. Each tech organisation is aligned to its business (Commodities tech, Equities tech, etc.), and each business has different requirements, which means there are a lot of opportunities to learn new things.
Another cool thing about tech at Citi is that, usually, your users are quite close, since our tech is there to support their activities. This means that you can meet and discuss requirements/issues, and get quick feedback on what's working well and what needs improvement.
I think that the spring internship is a great choice, since it will give you the opportunity to explore how our tech organisation works and give you the chance to ask questions (which you are always encouraged to do).
Hope that helps. I'm happy to answer any follow-up questions.
